Summary
Godfather’s was one of the branded chains, which joined the supermarkets in 1991 in response to customers demand for convenience and quality. The pizza delivery system was introduced in 1986 by the Godfather’s as an experiment in the Seattle area. They hoped that the simplicity of a one general telephone number would give the business a competitive advantage during the growing popularity of home pizza delivery. The restaurants have an extensive salad bar and buffet and offer a wide range of pizzas, broth sticks, chips, cookies, and pasta. The four crust forms are Mozza-loaded, original, thin, and golden. By January 2010, gluten-free pizzas made with rice flour were launched in the chain.
